People Loving Nashville is an organization sharing Love and Dignity with the unhoused & most vulnerable of Nashville by bringing Relief, Community, Connection, and Restoration.
As the Nonprofit Administration Intern, you will work directly with executive leadership and support the CEO with administrative tasks to support the mission and overall operations of the organization. This internship is for individuals interested in refining their management skills while gaining experience with strategic leadership at a growing organization. You will work on projects to directly impact the short-term goals as well as long-term strategy for the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As the Nonprofit Administration Intern, you will work directly with executive leadership and support the CEO with administrative tasks to support the mission and overall operations of the organization. You will work on projects to directly impact the short-term goals as well as long-term strategy for the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Performs work on special projects as assigned by the CEO
- Provide administrative support to the CEO, as needed
- Assist with researching and preparing the grant process
- Attend meetings and weekly outreach
- Support preparation for Board of Directors meetings and fundraising events, attending as needed
- Assist in data tracking and clean-up
- Assist with timely and accurate entry into the donor management system
- Oversee donation site pickup and processing
- Assist with SWOT analysis preparation, as needed
- Provide additional administrative assistance to support the CEO, Board of Directors, and organization, as needed
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- You support the work, mission, and values of People Loving Nashville
- Currently enrolled in a degree-granting program preferably in the following areas: business administration, nonprofit management, social entrepreneurship, or other relevant major
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, a love for organization and administration, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Exceedingly well organized, proactive, flexible, and dedicated to helping in a support role
- Ability and enthusiasm to quickly learn and process information, including new software and technical skills
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs and priorities of a direct service non-profit
