We are engaging to bring relief, Community, & connection
to the most vulnerable in our city
We have had to drastically bring down the amount of volunteers to prep and then distribute the food, clothing, and survival supplies. With caution tape up and more hand sanitizer than we know what to do with, we have been able to continue to serve. Classically we have not had the need for volunteers to sign up ahead of time, but because of safety precautions we have decided to sign up. Click here for more info!
The need has increased in our city in regards to emergency food and supplies. We have created 2 teams who are now going directly into the camps with food, drinks and respond to emergency supplies. On top of that we have people responding directly to folks with in our community who are needing assistance. We have partnered with other organizations and churches to collect non-perishable food. Normal ways of getting food and supplies for a lot of our friends have gone scarce. Shelters, food pantries, and other organizations are having to par down their operations understandably. We have been able to distribute hundreds of masks on the streets as well.
We are continually learning through out the week how to serve our friends in need. We believe in the creativity God has given us to engage as best as we can. See below for more ways to get involved! Thank you for your support!

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOL
We are constantly monitoring the Covid-19 outbreak and making real-time adjustments for the safety of those we serve as well as the safety of those who come to serve. Please see below for or current response and we ask that you join us in helping protect this community.
1- Anyone experiencing the following we ask to not participate in our gatherings:
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
2- If after you participate in any gathering, and develop any symptoms please email us immediately and seek testing. We will want to notify everyone who has participated in that particular gathering anonymously and we will ask that group of people to also seek testing and suggest CDC recommendations on quarantine. If there is a known case of positive Covid-19, that entire group of volunteers will be asked to not return for 14 days.
3-We have drastically cut down on volunteers allowed at our outreaches. This is to limit the possibilities of transmitting the virus while also promoting capabilities of continued social distancing. We have also created sign up links to be able to communicate and keep track of our volunteers!
4- Masks, gloves and often sanitizing of hands is required. Please do your best to keep 6ft between you and anyone we are serving as well as serving next to. We also require that volunteers not carpool to and from our outreaches unless they are part of the same house-hold. When working with any surface please participate with staff as we sanitize every surface we work on often.
5- If you have/had Covid-19 we ask that you seek rest and full recovery. Please let us know how we ask a community may serve you in this time. We ask that you not return in person as a volunteer until 14 days after your positive test.
We pray that the heart of the precautions is clear. We come to serve and love some of the most vulnerable of our city. We want to do that to the best of our ability. We have sought wisdom from professionals in this field and will continue to sharpen our processes as best as possible. Please allow us grace as we do so, we realize that there are many sacrifices our volunteers make for those we serve, and we honor them. We could not be more grateful for this community. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.
